Consent & safety

Both people choose. Every time.

Just Us can suggest an activity. It can never decide what is right for you. Consent, communication and care always come first.

Only an enthusiastic yes is a yes

Talk before you start. Enable only activities both people genuinely want. Consent to one activity does not imply consent to another, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Skip without explanation

Every prompt is optional. Use Skip immediately whenever either person feels uncertain, uncomfortable or simply not interested. Do not pressure a partner to explain or change their answer.

Stop means stop

Stop the session when either person asks. Check in directly rather than relying on silence, body language or the game. A timer ending is not a reason to continue, and a timer running is never a requirement to finish.

Stay able to communicate

Do not use Just Us when alcohol, drugs, sleep, distress or another condition prevents clear and voluntary consent. Agree on simple check-in language before any activity that could make speaking or moving harder.

Use your judgment

Consider health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, allergies and product instructions. The game provides entertainment, not medical or therapeutic advice. Stop if something hurts, causes numbness, breathing difficulty or feels unsafe. Seek appropriate professional or emergency help when needed.

Keep devices and accessories safe

Follow manufacturer instructions, use body-safe products, keep keys or quick-release methods accessible, and never improvise around breathing, circulation, the neck or loss of consciousness.

A shared rule

Either person can pause, skip or end the evening at any time. That choice is always correct and never needs to be earned.
